Betsy Davis, the eldest daughter of musicians, was brought up believing that art and travel were the only ways to truly feed your soul. On her recent travels through the cities and countryside of Mexico, she captured the current state of political life through portraits of the people of Mexico, protests against Felipe Calderon’s rule as President, and those living under military rule in Oaxaca City during December 2006.
